Although there are true elements in what you said, let's look at it from a different perspective: 3DSPlaza currently is only of the only, if not the only, 3DS Browser oriented website on the internet that is still active.
I may not have much time to come online here often myself, since I very much have a life outside of 3DSPlaza. However, 3DSPlaza has been costing more money to host for the past few years than it has earned me. Yet, I still deliberately kept 3DSPlaza online using my own money. Would you still say I have "given up on you"? Your call.

The Nintendo community is great. There are many out there who are good-natured and funny. Long ago, I was directed to Home4Dsi from Flipnote Hatena, and from there, here. I came back here after almost a year expecting to see old friends, but instead I see the apocalyptic wasteland we all feared. From a few minutes of research, I learned that Rob had given up on us. It's mostly the community's fault, cuz there still are those who ruin it for everyone.
Just like Flipnote Hatena, just like how I knew it was gonna be, as the system got older, the site started dying. Now I am officially declaring this site dead. I will check up on it often, just to see whether it still exists.
Hopefully in the future there will be something better. Perhaps for the Nintendo Switch?
Edit: Okay, so I overreacted. Apparently there's a new site coming. I hope to see it.
