It's quite interesting to see a site die. I've been here since at least early 2012, and I found it odd that there was no active development for apps or games on this site's store. I'm pretty sure my 3DS Breakout was one of the last ones published, and I made that not too long into the life of the site. I haven't been here in months, but it's fascinating to see a place that was once teeming with life, turn into a wasteland.

Agreed. I've been here for about... 3 years? We used to have I think 12,000 users. I remember when the chatrooms used to be full. We had active forum users. Now, everything is just dying. The site in run on ads now. It's just.... sad.

It's just what happens when there's no effort put into updating or adding on to a site. Not that I blame Rob, he's expressed several times in the past that he was disappointed with Plaza users and had temporarily shut the site down (twice) because of our behaviour back in 2011/2012. Evidently we never changed, and so he may have just given up and decided to leave us to ourselves. That's just speculation, but that's beside the point...this site is long overdue for a makeover which it's never going to get because the creator has clearly lost passion for it, and I sympathize with him. Not that great maturity should be expected from tweens and angsty teenagers, however Plaza users in general have been pretty notorious for taking things to extremes. Oh well, it's been fun at least. And who knows, as long as it still exists, there's still a chance for a revivial...maybe Rob can pass it on to someone else or something.

everyone's point here is true. this site is dieing. i been on here for 3 years, havint been on in a while 'till now. when i joined(with my first acc not this one) i was like "THIS IS THE BEST SITE" and"ITS SO EASY TO HANG AND NOT BE EMBARRSED(idc how i spell :/ ) its sad to see old memories die and/or fade

Yeah, this site was cool while it lasted. I wish Rob could at least get someone else to work on the site so it could get more features and work more-then-decent, and as such, attract more people.

People got older, and the novelty of a site made for the 3ds browser has died since the system is now almost 6 years old. I know Rob is busy, but it for this site to survive it would have to morph into a Nintendo "community" site or a videogame blog/news site or SOMETHING. Right now it's basically discount Facebook.

This is sad though, because I remember at the peak of this site's popularity, it got mentioned on Nintendolife along with other big videogame news sites.
