3DSPlaza's domain gets renewed every 3 years. So in 2014 it was renewed up until 2017. Rob has stated a while back that he plans to renew the domain for another 3 years, which guarantees 3DSPlaza will exist until at least January 31, 2020.

That's a little over 3 and half years from now. 3 and half years ago from now was the beginning of 2013. We were actually getting new users in that time period. Everyone knows the new users now are just old users creating new accounts. And if we ever did get an actual new user, they wouldn't stay and become a so called "regular"

So that basically means everyone is growing up and some of those people are getting busy with their lives and don't have time to come on anymore and no one will replace them. Ironically, the "3DS" part of 3DSPlaza was beneficial in the early years of the 3DS. Now that the 3DS is very old, it seems to work against the site as no one ever searches for 3DS chat websites anymore, and I can't see the name "3DSPlaza" ever getting fresh users when the NX comes out unless old users refer their friends or something.

Yes, 3DSPlaza is not dead, but the site seems to be getting a very slow death. How do you think 3DSPlaza will be in 2020?

by 2020 mythic dawn will have taken over｜lol no if you don't know mythic dawn wants to shut down 3ds plaza but will never do so i joined it as a joke but in 2020 3dsplaza will be overun with spammers and noobs
