Before I get banned due to the no blacks rule recently established, I got to know, why tf was Nuenez unbanned after he was banned after Leake unbanned him? There was a brief time where Nuenez was unbanned even though Lani was heavily against it the first time. No one in the entire PLANET questioned it, I was the only one who was like wtf. Was I out of the loop or some ?

Re-opened to answer...it's been discussed countless times in the chats, but I'm pretty sure there has never been an actual thread about it.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, so I'll just write out the events that happened as I know them:

- Nuenez got banned, then made alts for NSFW spam which earned him/her a legitimate perma ban.
- Leake (and CA) had decided to unban Nuenez once Leake discovered that Nuenez's original ban reason was false.
- I said "nuh" and re-banned Nuenez.
- (This is where things get a bit foggy for me) Leake was apparently discussing Nuenez's ban with Robdeprop through emails, and allegedly convinced Rob that Nuenez should be unbanned once again.
- Once Rob was filled in on everything that happened, he retracted his decision and left me with the authority to officially decide Nuenez's ban status.


I gueeess I'll leave this open for now...it's somewhat personal, but I think it's arguably a legitimate topic as well.

As this is now unlocked, I shall redeem myself by providing a little more detail.

The unban part (second listed) involved a bit of misinformation, unfortunately. Opinions of ours (including users) were regrettably used without the consideration of the real damage caused, even though I was 90% aware of what happened (10% would be to do with what happened that allegedly got Nuenez the false ban initally).
For reasons, I cannot dive too much into detail, though what I can say that it was a bit of a catch 22 situation.
Also this was not all that happened so don't take that as a full story.

When Nuenez was freed, he eventually created useless / badly typed posts. What's worse is that it would be in the forums where you can't just type as if you're in the chat (not like his posts were acceptable for that either).
From that point it began to be clear that it was a bad idea not leaving him locked up.

Lessons:
• To not allow users who aren't being serious to vote for these sorts of things (most users here)
• Get the facts first
• Be reasonable
• Don't trust anyone
• If someone wants an action to be performed when they can do it themselves, let them do it.
