Okay, so with this site being almost halt a decade old, I feel that if we want more users, we should redesign our Plaza. For example,

1. Get rid of that hideous header. For all the years I've been here, we've had this thing. This thing looked like it jumped out of the 90's and plopped on our website. I say we make it something that appeals to the users a bit more.

2.Get rid of the ''About the 3DS'' and the ''Links'' sections. Okay, I don't think I've seen ''About the 3DS'' updated once, so if we keep it, it should be updated more. Plus, we literally have 2 links, so those can be mishmashed somewhere else on the website.

3. Those buttons on the top of the page Theres not much to say for this. They're visually unattractive and should be redesigned.

4. Why does our Homepage look like a newspaper article? Our homepage needs to be appealing if we want new users. Mishmash important announcements. Maybe bring in an art gallery? Show off Players work, (also on trinate spriter) and maybe do a joke of the week? Get rid of ''News'' and put it on the homepage.

5.WE HAVE A STATUS? Not much. yep- we have one. This could be part of the new homepage.

6. The links to other social media. Not much. Move them somewhere else and change the language.


I get that this will take a lot of work, I'm guessing.

Using a new color language and shadows would greatly help. Using a common 'red' theme (for the 3 in 3DS) for accents and a white for other elements would create a simple two toned interface. Implementing shadows and :hover psudo classes with animations would allow for a more responsive interface. Moving the tabs into a hamburger 'paper' menu on the left side of the screen would allow for a common header and tab interface throughout the site. The fonts need and update and a more personalized and intuitive "feed" on each of our homepages would be nice...
