Hey guys, Im going to make a tutorial on a simple to make website for beginners

If your like erman, then you will do better

NOTE: I am making this in 1 file but you can use multi files if you want

Copy this code and I will explaim it all....
NOTE2: I am not using meta tags here.

File name: index.html or index.php(I would use .php)

‹!DOCTYPE HTML›
‹html›
‹head›
‹title›(Your name here) • My First Website!‹/title›
‹/head›
‹body›
‹style›
* {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif;
padding: 0px;
margin: 0px;
}
.header {
height: 50px;
background-color: #CD3333;
color: blue;
}
#main {
text-decoration: italic;
}
‹/style›
‹div class="header"›
<center><h2>My First Website</h2></center>
‹/div›‹br›‹br›‹div id="main"›<p>Hello, I am (Your name here, and I just made my own website using HTML and CSS!</p>‹/div›‹footer›My website by (Your name here)‹/footer›‹/body›‹/html›

Right, You should know what h2 and center, doctype, html and body is

But Im going to explain a div, and the class or id

=======

Dividor

A dividor, or div, divides your page into different sections, and in the sections you define, you can put CSS in.

The 2 types of css styles are 'id' and 'class'

ID

An id is normally used once on your site and thats it, e.g if you implement a twitter feed onto your social media page, you would probably use an id for that, when on your text styling tags, you would use a class.

An id in a css stylesheet would look like this

#myid {

}

and the html would be this

‹div id="myid">
blah
</div>

CLASS

Classes are used across your site, as seen above.

Css:

.myclass {

}

HTML:
<div class="myclass">
blah x2</div>

You can use the actual <> tags, since 3DSPlaza doesn't allow HTML.
