So we waited a long time for this so-called "epic finale". But was it really the explosive conclusion to the series we love?

Starting off, I just want to say this is my opinion. Do not get offended or butthurt. We all have different and alike opinions.

STORY/PLOT
So we have the classic story like always. We have a villain going on with an evil plan of destruction or world domination and Batman comes to save the day! Unlike the other two past games made by Rocksteady, this one isn't written by Paul Dini. The story is a mixed bag for me. We have Scarecrow with all this fear stuff, the Arkham Knight trying to kill Batman for a personal reason (geez I wonder who it is!) and then who comes back to take the spotlight? The Clown Prince of Crime. It was disappointing having him back, do not get me wrong. He was the spotlight as I said. Him being with you, interacting with you and other people/things around, was pretty awesome. He made it feel more alive or good, I can't explain it. He has some of the greatest scenes in the game and I really liked it. But I wanted more from Scarecrow and Arkham Knight as we were promised. Scarecrow felt small and irrelevant to everything most of the time. Jaso- I mean the Arkham Knight kept babbling on with all this knowing-Batman-very-well stuff. It was a disappointment with the Arkham Knight's reveal. It was predictable but holy hell, did Rocksteady's take on the character give me an erection. I loved their take on the character. It was something old yet new and refreshing. This game, when you think about it, is actually of how it is to be the Batman like it was advertised. You see his pain physically, emotionally, mentally. It shows you how it is to be the Batman and what he goes through. The ending didn't feel right although. There's no final confrontation with Jason, the character who has his name on the title of the game. The Knightfall protocol left us on a cliffhanger. Who is this demon-like Batman roaming Gotham? Storywise, this game left a sour yet super sweet and delicious taste in my mouth.

GRAPHICS
The graphics are simply phenomenal. I don't really ever care about the graphics. If they are good enough, I don't praise or hate them. But holy poop, are these graphics amazing. There's so much detail but into this game. The way the cape moves in the wind, the type of material Batman uses on his cape, even Batman's eyes and eyelashes, something you don't ever really focus on, it can all be seen in so much realistic detail. It is simply spectacular. I r8 666 outta 69 m8.

GAMEPLAY
Perfection. The combat is perfect. The predator gameplay is perfect. The free roaming is perfect. THE BATMOBILE IS PERFECT. Now let's start off with the well-known combat. The combat has been improved and perected. You can now punch and kick or even pick up enemies on/off the ground. The triple cape stun has a better purpose. You can even grab the bat from the enemy and swing at their head. Every flaw has been either fixed or perfected. There are also interact-able environments. Now you can drop a heavy lamp on some guys head. The upgrades are super cool. My personal favorite is the Batclaw takedown. You pull some thug near you with the Batclaw and grab him by his chest as you flip backwards in a beautiful and swift animation and then knock him out by throwing him headfirst in the ground below. It's more interactive and real and alive. The predator has been perfected as well. You can now perform stealth takedowns from pretty much anywhere. The enemy AI is smarter, they will hunt you down as you try to survive with low health. My new personal favorite in this, is obviously the Fear takedowns. They're so fun and cool to do. You takedown 3 (4 or 5 with the upgrades) enemies in a fast movement in slow motion. The gliding is also so much better. You can glide higher, faster as you use the Grappling Hook boost (the final Grappling Hook upgrade is so boss!!) to direct you to the sky. Now this is a bad or good thing to people. The Batmobile. We have been asking for it for a while now and we've got it. It's great driving around Gotham, jumping ramps and running ove- I mean shocking people with the Batmobile is fun and a new refreshing awesome feature I love. The tank battles are incredibly fun yet annoying. They are overused at some points but I still enjoy racking up combos in it. Like AngryJoe said, maybe if they had put only like 3 tank battles, then we probably would have wanted more or had just the right amount. I don't want to talk about the boss battles, they shouldn't even be called boss battles. They were horrible. But I did like the underground drill battle.

CONCLUSION
Is this a satisfying conclusion? Yes, for me yes. Not completely satisfying, but satisfying enough to leave on a good note. Thank all of you kind people at Rocksteady for this amazing series, love you all. Anyways I give this game a 9.6

-Kinda overused Tank Battles
-Joker taking the spotlight

No real boss fights was a letdown. Also, having some Asylumesque nightmare setpieces would have been amazing.
And they should have had freeroam with the other characters similar to Catwoman in Arkham City
. Overall, great, but City was better.

The only ones I actually beat where Orgins and Arkham Knight both were pretty good not great. Arkham knight was the best IMO. I might buy Arkham city and whatever the other one is to beat.
