Once in a blue moon, Alex rarely buys older Pokemon games online. His sister had almost all of them, and all he had was a DSi and Pokemon HeartGold.
So, today, Alex looked upon his computer for something to spend his weekly pay on.
Alex was scrolling Amazon.com, browsing for something useful. He thought about what he needed. Hmm... maybe this iPhone 5S case would do. No... mine's a 5C.
When suddenly, he came across a DS game.
Pokemon SOULSILVER bundle - $4.99.
What he found appeared to be a gimmick, he thought. But he scrolled through the reviews, and found something that nearly made him his pants.

Alex instantly bought the Pokemon game.
Three days later, it arrives. The game was in a clear state- new and unopened. There wasn't a single trace that this game was a phony.
Alex popped out 'Pokemon HeartGold' and put in the new game.
When Alex got to the SoulSilver title screen, he learned a spooky fact.
There was already a save file on this game.
It was a completely brand new cartridge. The name on the save file was a shock too.

Alex, out of curiosity, loaded the save file. When the game booted, the player was saved in Lavender Town, smack-dab in the middle. Behind the player, a level 66 Gastly was standing.
Alex checked the party. Inside the team, was Gastly, Gastly, Gastly... nothing but Gastly's... and a Cubone. WITH IT'S SKULL OFF?
