Summary:
Year is 2015, 15 years ago an explosion happened called the "Second Impact" and destroyed Antarctica, flooding parts of the world. Nevertheless, humanity survived and we have rebuilt everything. The main story will start in Tokyo-3, essentially the new rebuild of Tokyo-2. A few characters will play as NERV pilots, 15-16 year olds who pilot large mech-like robots called Evangelions. "Angels" arrive every 3 weeks in-characterly, and you have to essentially fight them if you are a pilot. More details will be said in the RP.

Jobs:
Citizen - Someone who just generally lives in Tokyo-3.
NERV Researcher - Someone on the NERV team of Science and Development, lowest security clearance to the facility.
NERV Head Researcher - The above job, yet with a higher security clearance level. (One person only)
NERV Maintenance Worker - Someone who goes around the facility making sure that equipment is ready for usage; also helps in repairing if anything is broken/Angel has managed to make it's way into base and was swiftly dealt with.
NERV Combat Director - Whenever an Angel attacks, this person's duty is to make sure the Evangelion Units are ready for combat and you also guide them through combat; essentially a general. (One person only)
NERV Combat Monitor - You are stationed on the Combat Floor with the Combat Director, monitoring the combat against the Angel, alerting the Combat Director of any damage on the Evangelions or the Angel.
NERV Evangelion Pilot - A teenager of about 15-16, pilot of the Evangelion. In combat you HAVE to follow the Combat Director's orders, otherwise you may die or lose status of pilot. Otherwise, you're just a student at the local high school.

Description: Has short brown hair, with a long section of hair that usually hangs down the right side of her face, going down just to her chin. Has blue eyes, and stands about 5'7. She often wears skirts with t-shirts, but isn't afraid to wear something a bit more masculine. Suffers from a bit of mental instability.

Name: Nathan Darke
Age: 24
Occupation: NERV Researcher
Gender: Male
Description: Has long black hair, with a little amount of brown in there. Has grey eye colour, wears rectangular-based glasses and is often seen down at the Angel Research Department on his own, wearing a traditional scientist uniform. Is quite unsocial.

Description: Elusive, he usually remains silent during meetings. Becomes outspoken when his or someone else's livelihood is challenged. While being reasonably friendly, he is eccentric at heart. His shoulder length blonde hair is almost always tied up im a ponytail to be kept out of his face. At a slender 6'1", he carries the towering height of his father and the lithe dexterity of his mother, both of unknown health after Kir left for Tokyo-3 at the age of 14.

((RP has started.))
Tokyo-3. The evening sun was setting, blissful winds blowing over and giving a light breeze. Lights were on and the city seemed alive; showing human traces of prevalent survival. The year was 2015; and life has been made anew despite the Second Impact occurring. NERV was quiet, and just about anything else was quiet. No more flooding, no more emergencies and no Third Impact. Of the people that were watching the glistening water meet the sun, Setsuzoku, who happened to be sitting in her school uniform from earlier, enjoyed the privacy of sitting on the only existing high-school complex's roof, getting the perfect view on all of it. While up there, she liked to contemplate the things that were going on in her life, as well as what was coming further on down Fate's pathway. One of these things were the re-occurring synchronization tests that NERV were conducting. Were they expecting something to come? Who knew, other than the illusive Director of NERV? Could she ask freely? No.. that wasn't the case with a top secret government-based organization.

She continued to ponder the questions in her mind, as her body otherwise physically moved around, picking up her bag and heading to the nearest exit. As she had eventually left the maze of corridors and rooms, she headed down in the general direction towards Tsuburu Section, her home and NERV Central Station being positioned there conveniently. She personally just wanted to head home and relax, maybe study for an hour or two, but she knew that wasn't the case. She had to check into NERV HQ to gain her ID card, instead of using some blank, makeshift card that barely worked. On the other hand however, a top cleared NERV Researcher sat alone at his desk, eyes staring at the screen, tapping away at vivid speed on his keyboard. He was monitoring irregular energy fluctuations bordering the outside oceans surrounding Japan. He had considered it may be the possibility that the next Angel was arriving, but wasn't truly too sure.

Description: Having a strong interest in "Angel Science" ((Attack on Titan reference, 'Titan science') but he was denied as a researcher. So the closest he got to his dream was his current occupation. Nothing can make him lose his cool except for when an Angel breeches the limits without his knowledge. He always keeps his black hair covering the burn scar on his left eye forehead to prevent questions about it, for he gags at the mental flashback. He is rather serious about his job, but when his shift is over, he is an entirely new person. Always joyful where he lives and how he lives, but remains in solitude from everyone else. The only time he talks to people is his job and getting food.

Once she had arrived, she swiftly swung her ID card onto the reader and passed through the opened door. The train had just arrived, and had noticed Ethan standing there yet said nothing to him. She just swiftly moved onto the train and took a seat, waiting to be down there.

Nathan scratched his head, monitoring the energy fluctuating more frequently, getting seemingly bigger. It wasn't right, so he got up from his desk, and left the office, heading for the combat floor to mention it to the Combat Director.

Milo sighed for he dreaded the train system. Almost everyday he is late because he hurries for the train without breakfast. Leaving him with nothing until lunch. While waiting for the lousy train, he daydreamed Angel Science.

The train had waited for five minutes before continuing it's journey down the long, cavernous tunnels that lead to NERV's HQ.
This gave the others plenty of time to board.
