So I was messing around with my phone, not paying attention to where I was tapping on the screen, when a minute or so later I look down and see that I'm on this thing called "sim card". I don't know what it is, but for some reason I can't exit out of it and I apperantly need some sort of password. My lock screen password didn't work.

It said if I got the password wrong enough times, the "sim card" thing I was on would be shut down. I assumed that if I got it shut down, I could get off the thing and use my phone again. When I got it shut down, I wasn't able to get on my phone at all. My entire phone is now permanently shut down.

Does anyone know how I can fix it, or if I even can?

Update: I took out my SIM card and I can unlock my phone now, but I can't connect to the Internet. I don't know if I can get a new SIM card because I have virizon and many differet sources say that they have many different prices. Not sure which is the accurate source but the price could be anywhere ranging from 7 to 30 dollars.

Anyone know what I should do? Should I just ask for a new SIM card for Christmas?

My dad said I just needed a new SIM card and he would get me one. Problem solved
