Lab Rat A767

Hi, my name is Jake. I am a scientist for the United States of America. It all started on November 9th, 2011. Me and some fellow scientists were researching some tree sap from a certain tree. There is only a few of that type of tree in existence. People who have drunken the sap have reported to see weird things, but at the same time grew bigger muscles, reported to not get sick for more than a year, and had outstanding vision. A year later after many people have reported of drinking that sap and the effects it gives them, all of them died. Every single person who drank the sap. This was baffling for all my co-workers. A couple days later, we decided to test the sap on some lab rats. What happened was astonishing. All of the lab rats died quickly but one. The lab rat's ID was "A767". That lab rat was the oldest lab rat, and he had been tested on the most, also. My team and I trapped A767 in a small cage with special food and special water. There were cameras in the cage, so we could see what was going on in there. We left A767 in there weeks. He was getting bigger and bigger and bigger. A couple weeks later, A767 was gone from the cage. The team and I kept searching for him. We couldn't find him. When a fellow scientist named Darwin went to home, something strange happened. He never came to work the next day. After a couple days, we started to worry about Darwin. The team and I decided to go to his house and knock on his door. No answer. Darwin and I were best friends, so I had a copy of his house keys. I went inside the house, and I looked everywhere. I couldn't find Darwin. Since I looked all over the place, but still couldn't find Darwin, I decided to look at the security camera footage. I rolled it back a couple of days, and I found something unbelievable. I saw something that looked like a cross of a rat, and a man. I paused the footage quickly. I zoomed in a little bit, to find a little tag attached to the rat-thing's ear. I could hardly make out what the tag. Sooner or later, I found out what the tag said. It read: "A767". I paused for a second to think. "Is this really A767?" I thought to myself. Then I realized it was! "The rat must have grown A LOT, and he some how mutated!" I though to myself. I watched some more of the footage. Darwin was sleeping, then suddenly A767 came out and scratched Darwin with his claws! Darwin was barely alive. Darwin opened his eyes as wide as could. A767 said "This is for all the horrible tests you and your team have done on me. Your friends are next." After A767 finished speaking, he brutally murdered Darwin with his claws, than after a while, A767 ate Darwin, smiling, evilly. I was super sad of the death of Darwin. After that, I went home, and went to bed, thankfully not getting brutally slaughtered and eaten. I'm glad I didn't forget to plug in a special wire to the security camera system, and downloaded the footage to my laptop. After I took a shower, got dressed, and ate breakfast, I went to work. I showed everyone that I work with that footage. After lunch, the administrators of the lab made an announcement. "Everyone will be equipped with top-secret, government only weapons, armor, etc. to protect you from A767. The items everyone will get are:
- A special gun.
- A sword made out of titanium.
- A suit fully made out of titanium, and bullet-proof glass.
- 1 30-minute work-in-progress invisibility shot
- And a spy watch that allows you to speak with fellow government agents, scientists, administrators, etc. The items are at the facility room!" said a well-respected administrator named Annie. I got the items and went home. When I got to work the next day, an administrator was missing. "An administrator with the name of 'Jonah' has gone missing. I repeat, an administrator with the name of 'Jonah' has gone missing." I said through my special watch. There was no response. Suddenly, I heard a crackling noise through my watch. "You're next." I soon realized A767 said through my watch. I got scared. Luckily, that night, I wore my uncomfortable armor, so I couldn't get hurt. The next morning, I went to work. There were only 3 people there. One of them was an administrator. The administrator was Annie. Luckily, Annie was close to the smartest person in the whole team. At lunch, when Annie went to go throw her lunch away, there was a strange figure at the end of the hallway. All of us realized it was A767. Thank god we were all wearing our armor. The armor, we found, wasn't needed at that moment. We started to research the sap that made A767 mutate. We found out, if we drink the sap, we could become mutated sort of like how A767 is mutated. Annie decided to extract the part of the sap that killed all the people that drank it. That took hours, but it was worth it. Each one of us drank a little bit, for we only had two cups. We had some emergency sap in are pockets, in case we needed some, for any reason. We took our armor off. The only item we kept from that kit was the sword made out of titanium. For 2 hours, we kept yelling "A767 SHOW YOURSELF!" Finally, we heard a voice saying "I have gotten rid of all of your friends. I will now kill you." We knew that was A767. Suddenly, I got scratched on the face. It was A767! The fight went on for more than 6 hours, until everyone had cuts, burns, and a couple broken bones. We realized we had won when A767 said "I am never going to be beaten. You haven't seen my full wrath." After that, he disappeared into the shadows. Sooner or later, we all went home. While I lay in bed, I thought to myself "That was not the last of him? Pity! We'd probably discovered how to be invincible by the time we see that rat again!"
