Multiple thread OPs
carlos11 (2014-10-18 05:39:42)Yeah, I don't need this
Buuuut, this does sound like something the peasants would appreciate. Well, let's see what they think.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.
I could see this going horribly wrong in some scenarios, but I think this would be a very fun feature to add. There's no reason not to do it.
Sollux (2014-10-30 17:29:52)I guess this could be a good idea, I mean if you don't want anyone editing your post just don't anyone, right? +1

Jason2k14 (2014-10-30 21:20:34)It really depends of if you can trust that person.
There is no "i" in trust.

PhoenixDawn (2014-10-31 15:34:35)It can go either way. I can see the other OP's closing the thread, editing posts, and much much more.

carlos11 (2014-11-06 00:42:36)^Exactly.
So long as you do not let AntiChrist be OP, you're good. The chances of this "going wrong" are negligible.

SackThing101 (2014-11-07 07:28:46)Oh, why didn't you ask me?
Of course I'm itchy. Everyone gets itchy. I like to be stratched.
PhoenixDawn (2014-11-07 13:55:51)*gives Nait a dog with fleas* Oh wait! You're allergic.

I think there should be multiple OPs for a thread so multiple people can edit that particular thread.
For example, Sometimes people like to create clubs and make a thread dedicated to their club, the disappointing thing about this is there is only one OP to update and edit the thread when club members want to add information to the thread, this causes a lot of hassle.
How would you use this feature?:
When the original OP is in the process of creating a thread, there will be an extra section named 'Other OPs', you can type usernames in there and separate each username with a ',' (Or if there is any other ideas, share it in the comments). When the original OP publishes the thread, there will be an automatic PM sent to the other OPs for that thread saying 'Hello, <username>. We would just like to inform you that you have been set as an OP for <username>'s "<name of thread>" thread. This means you have the abilities of the original owner of the thread.' and it will be from Robdebot (since that who it usually is when you receive a automatic PM). The people who receive the PM will have the same abilities as the original OP.
