I use this when I need a bit more done than what paint.net can offer. Pathing, great effects an filters, along with templates for webpages, documents, etc. Great and powerful tool.

I use this program primarily. It allows for Layers, multiple effects and filters, and is easy to get the hang of.

8/10(I'll put Spencers rating up here, but none other.)

I personally find it useless. It has a huge capacity for great art, but a steep learning curve.

Tuxpaint
9000/10(I refuse to acknowledge tuxpaint' existance.)

There's a difference between a review and a rating.

When I first started drawing digitally, Paint.NET is what I always used. Even though it lacks a variety of paintbrushes, you can still draw decent things with it.

This is an example show

Drawing digitally, I had to use a mouse...It was tiring, took a lot of time, and everyone could see what I was drawing on the big computer screen (I hate it when people see my unfinished projects). So, I switched back to paper later on...which, honestly....you can never replace. You have so much more control, and there's a texture to it that you can never achieve with digital art. After getting Colors!3D, I fell in love with digital art again...though I still use paper for my own pleasure, the art I upload now is mostly from Colors3D since it's quicker and more effortless to upload.

I typically have more respect for good traditional art, simply because I know from experience that digital art is so much easier.

I use Paint.net because I draw comics and logos. Really good for simplicity.
