So, you buy a 3ds/2ds(Im 2ds) and wanna know how to get started...

Because the guide and the built-in tutorial doesn't help at all

It's actually different depending on the system you're in.

On 3DS (XL), you change the brightness, and turn on/off power saving mode.
You turn off communications with a switch.

On the 2DS, you can change the brightness, or turn off/on wireless communication. You put the 2DS in sleep mode by pressing a switch.
