My dream is finally true! They made XC 3D! Now for PT and TLS 3D...
Anyway, this was announced very recently, and I hope that you all enjoy being proven right(or wrong, for you XC haters). Anyway, Shulk appears to look a lot younger in Smash and the new XC that he did in the original(he is 18, while he looks 13 in smash). While they appeared to use lines from the original game(with the exception of Shulk time, which was taken from his friend in the original game Reyn), the voice sounds a bit younger. doubtless they wanted him to be able to relate more easily with the younger demographic. however, with this out, as well as XC 3D, it will fuel hype for the Wii U sequel, Xenoblade Chronicles X(spiritual sequel, not actual sequel. Anyone who has finished the original Xenoblade will know why) will sell even better and promote the Wii u to greater heights!
Now onto Xenoblade 3D and the new 3DS. Since there is already a topic about the new 3DS, i'll go right to the Xenoblade news. It is the same game, and while it appears to use footage from the original game, the battle scene is most certainly new. Shulk looks younger in this version as well, though not by as much as he does in smash. the attack animations are slower as well, but they will probably sort that our before release. While it is only in Japanese for now, it has been confirmed that both the new 3DS and the game will arrive in the west in 2015, probably around or just before XCX on the Wii U.
Finally, for the new 3DS,I did a quick currency check on how much 18,000 Yen was worth. It is worth just over £100, or just over $170. That is for the New 3DS XL. the new normal one is 15,000 yen. Also, the battery life is around doubled for both(normal is 6 hours, Xl is 7+), as well as the micro USB slot and improved CPU (and hopefully improved GPU as well). It also has an NFC connector, so you can use the Amiibo figures with it. They have also announced that the new browser is HTML5 compatible, and that everything will load faster(namely, Miiverse and the eShop) they are also making shells for all 3DS models(like phone cases, or the GBMicro face plates), with Mario and animal crossing being the first ones to come out. Finally, they are releasing menu skins, which you will have to download(probably paid) from the eShop.
