All you did was copy this picture, moved an arm, and changed some of the components back to the old Sonic style.

It's pretty obvious that you copied the basic form. Especially when the angle is the exactly the same and you left some of the Sonic Boom features exactly how they are in that picture.

What's even more funny is the fact that you're attempting to deny that you didn't even LOOK at this picture while drawing.

It's okay to admit that you used a reference. It's not necessarily a bad thing.
