Hello! Haven't heard from me in a while, eh? Well I'm back with a whole bunch of horrible suggestions!
This thread will contain suggestions I'd like the chats to acquire. Let's get started!


~Chat Emoticons~
Here is a list of icons that would be pretty awesome to have in the chat:
If your a n00b newcomer, please do not try these as they are not functional

That's it of the icons, there is more I would add but that would just crowd the whole thread.


~Chat Commands~
Yes, I know this has already been done and I agree to all of them so I'll put a link to it, you may find them much more provocative then my ones - DrakeJericho's Chat Command Suggestions.

/startbet <prize> - This will start a bet, bets will be an activity for users who are willing to put a use to 3dsPoints Only one user use this at a time.
Cr1tiKaL has started a bet, winner gets <prize>

/bet <# of 3dsPoints> - This will use your 3dsPoints for the current stakes. One who bids the most amount wins the prize.
Cr1tiKaL placed a bet of <# of 3dsPoints> 3dsPoints

/link <url> - Creates a link to make websites easier to access.
Cr1tiKaL made a link = <url>

/PmUser <user> <message> - Quick and easy way of PMing during a chat.


~Other Chat Compatibilities~
Here is a bunch of other things which never made it into one of the categories.
BBCode compatibility - Although this might seem a little crazy, but I think it may work out fine. Just remove all of the major BBCodes (Like the [ img ] tag for example) and leave the codes that style text. ~ Being worked on.

Help Page Update - This Help tab is completely outdated, there are so many icons and commands that aren't in the tab. This sure could use an update.

Your emotes are okay.

/bet - could easily be overused

/link - seems okay

/pm - I'd rather just have that in the 'More' pane. Also, you left out replies to a PM and the 'Subject' field.


BBCode Compatibility - No, no use in bringing forum/profile stuff to chat. The only one I can approve of is [b], and MAYBE [u]. Everything else can just stay in forums and profiles.

Help Page - Definitely. That whole 'More' pane needs to be updated.

@DrakeJericho Okay, I removed the BBCode compatibility.

And yes, /bet could be overused but it depends of how many 3dsPoints they have. If you do run out of points, there will be a message that you can only see saying:
: You haven't got enough 3dsPoints!

We used to have a text styling chat feature, I was removed due to the fake warns abuse.

Everything else sounds good to me.
