Uhm, I'd like to start telling you that the respect system is no longer working.
But, lets suppose it did work. You can't buy respect, literally. It's not something I'd jump on board with, but others might like your idea.

I think you mixed up reputation and the strike system..

They are both abandoned features.

Yup, strikes. You don't have to worry about any of that anymore.

I have 8 strikes myself. Not that they matter, but they bother me a lot. An admin needs to remove the system entirely.
