I guess all I can say
While they wash away,
All the beautiful colors
Never come to stay.

The first to leave was red,
Thick and deep, I've said,
Like blood in my veins-
Wish it'd stayed instead.

After that left sky blue
With a soft radiant hue
Let it go all the same,
Nothing more I could do.

So Green next left me,
The inspiring shade, it be
Now gone for a while
Maybe you'll never see.

Now yellow fades
The pavement it trades,
Slinking away in rivers
Like withering maids

Next purple falls
Like old crumbling walls,
Unable to stay strong,
With a breaking resolve

Last went my indigo
Riddled with holes, though
As my mind faded away,
I knew it was all for show.

Not many are left,
Maybe we're the only ones.
The game still goes on...
No one can run.
