More Email Interaction
carlos11 (2014-06-20 19:46:01)Alright, couple reasons why this won't work, so I'll mention one.
This all sounds vaguely familiar. Oh, right, this is what almost all social media websites do. But I'm not shooting your idea down based on originality. Your idea lacks practical use. In twitter, or whatever's trending nowadays, email notifications would be useful whereas here in Plaza, not so much. Unless of course, you receive hundreds of PMs by several dozen people per day. You don't need need to be notified of anything here because it's much simpler to just log on and see what's happening for yourself.
Just some thoughts.
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.

I don't know why, but it will not let me indent.
This is just another idea, but I think that your Email could be used a lot more on 3ds Plaza. Here are just some of the ideas that I had.
There should be an ability to get an email notification when you get a pm. You could have the option to turn this on or off, or only get an email notification when you receive a pm from certain users. I don't know if this would be possible, but it would be nice to be able to respond to a pm via an email.
Another idea is that you would get an email notification if your password has been entered incorrectly more than 10 times. The ability to get an email if your account was signed in on a different IP address would also be nice. You should also get a notification if your password was changed, along with the new password. (This would help against password guessing).
There should also be a place in your profile settings to change/link and email to your account.
