Your ignorance level is high. Let me explain to you why it was discontinued:

Nintendo wasn't the only one who powerd up the NWFC, it was Nintendo and GameSpy. Since GameSpy for some reason went bankrupt and was bought by Glu Mobile, GameSpy could no longer keep up the service.

And that is why, my son, the NWFC service ended.
