Yes, BASIC. It was used in the early 1970s all the way through the mid 1980s before it completely died.

Now only few people knows how to use it, but people like me were hyped to make our own games on our 3DS/DSi. But what we get is an old computer language that's almost forgotten for almost 30 years.

If you're like many people who gets this app with little or no knowledge about it, then you're in tough luck. The best way to use that app is to download other people's games. They make a few great games, but most are mediocre and shovel ware.

So my recommendation: it's up to you.
