There should be a thing when it tells you when someone joined.Ex Darkman entered the chat.And if you leave it says.Ex Darkman disconnected from the chat.You can turn it on and off and if you want,you can turn friend mode.That will only tell if your friends joined.

There's something called an /away command, which I'm pretty sure is still available. Plus, there's no need for some command to notify you when a user arrives. Just look at their profile, and it would say (*user here*: Chillin on the homepage) or just look at the users list.

Yeah. Most people signs in and out repeatedly. If that notification is made, that would be annoying to everyone.

I agree on the friends list option.
