Karlan comes off as harmless and friendly at first, but is much more sinister than she lets on. She has no problems with using other people, regardless of how close they are to her, as puppets for her schemes. She makes no friends, nor anything more, no matter what it seems like. Karlan has the ability to use chucklevoodoos- some vague sort of mind control. Hussie never fully told it's purpose but supposedly the purple-blooded trolls used it to control/influence others and to keep the lowbloods in check.
She mischievous and slightly unsettling, possibly bipolar.
Karlan wears a black and white skull suit with a purple short skirt and purple shoes, mirroring her blood caste. She has long, orange horns and tangled black hair that reaches the small of her back. Her eyes are pure white and her mouth is stitched up.
She wears grey and white clown makeup.

Astinova Palmiro was one of two young Elven children destined to be the guardians to the Tree of Life, which sustained their homeland so long as his people remained in harmony with nature. While commune with all nature is important, he has always been more in tune the wild beasts, and has shown how connected he is by taming several once-thought "monster beasts", such as the Great Wyrm, The Spider Queen, even the Dire wolves, who were the fiercest of them all, were shown to submit. In time, he learned to become a beast himself, capable of Shape-shifting into several beasts he had tamed.

All would not remain peachy forever however, as the Elves were constantly under threat by the "Dark Ones", who corrupted and withered all they came across. These Dark ones launched a fierce assault upon the Tree of Life, far more than the two young guardians were able to ward off. The "Dark Ones" wasted no time withering the Tree and corrupting the surrounding beasts. Their home in shambles, the two were forced to flee.

Not knowing where to go, or what to do, Astanova fell into a profound rampage, until Drusilla discovered from the Great Tree's dying whispers that there exists seeds to which the two Guardians may plant another, Great Beasts in a deep slumber who could ward off the Dark Ones, and a new world for which they could begin life anew. Finally snapping out of it, Astanova and Drusilla began their quest.

Astanova is the elder of the two siblings, a fact he constantly uses to pull one over Drusilla when they're arguing. He is rather arrogant and can at times be incredibly callous, but he also shows shades of being wiser and more mature than he initially lets on. As much as he teases her, he is incredibly defensive of Drusilla, to the point where he is willing to tear open the throat of anyone that gives even a single lecherous glance to her. His biggest character flaw however, is his pride, which often gets in the way plenty of times.

Quick enough, she managed to snatch a fruit off of one the Guardian Ents she felt the most connected to, before leaving him behind as he began to wither away. Astanova had gone on a rampage, leaving her alone. She was scared, confused, unable to stop her flowing tears as she heard the dying whispers of the trees. The Great Tree spoke to her one last time, telling her that not all hope was lost, and there was a possibility that they could begin anew. The Great Tree told her of Great Beasts that could fight off the Dark Ones, of Tree Seeds that could be planted to make another Great Tree, and of a new world to begin life anew, as land tainted by the Dark Ones could never again see life. Granted a new resolve, she chased after Astanova, who in his rampage, has slayed not only several Dark ones, but destroyed a large part of a village and the forest surrounding it. The image of it still haunts her, as she had never seen this much carnage in her life, nor has she seen her brother become something so monstrous. She began pleading for him to stop, which managed to get through to him for a moment, which was long enough to share what the Great Tree had told her.

Drusilla is quiet and timid, mostly avoiding conflict at all costs. As opposed to her brother's extroverted arrogance and occasional callousness, She is introverted, both modest and very emphatic of others plights. She does however show that she can, in fact, perform under pressure. As much as she loathes the teasing, she still cares much for her brother, and often times will patch him up every time he makes mistakes or gets injured, as well as acting like a cool head in situations where Astanova has a difficult time keeping his from burning. Her biggest flaw would be her tendency to overthink things to extremes, where it can occasionally get in the way of performing menial tasks
