I just want to point out that VGC's format is doubles, and they don't have rules for single battles. The closest would be the Battle Spot.

All rules that apply in VGC are being applied here. The only changes taking place are that its singles and not doubles.

True, but VGC's rules are balanced around Doubles play, not singles. In a single's environment, you'd have an entirely different banlist.
