I haven't had any issues with bad eggs, though I have heard reports of them earlier on. Definitely something to watch out for.

There's only a 1% chance of getting this, btw. Plus, I'd always put my Pokemon I'm going to trade in a special box, just in case of this. This is so rare, that you shouldn't be too worried.

Lesson #1: Don't believe anything you hear on the Internet.
This is the second time I've seen a thread about this already.

Most of what you've stated in this post is false.

1) These eggs do not come from hacked Pokemon. They are a minor glitch in the game.

2) These do not originate from the Wonder Trade or the GTS. It just so happens that most of these incidents occur after an online trade. These can pop up regardless of whether you trade online or not. Data is data.

3) The eggs do not clone themselves. This is a rumor that good ol' Bulbapedia, along with everyone else, decided to take as absolute fact instead of looking into it further.

4) There is so little a chance of this happening, it's barely able to be statistically measured.

In conclusion, your games are safe. No need for mass paranoia.

The egg was a duplicating egg That was to the mega elite trainers pokemon clan leader as well. @mega ( sorry for late post )
