Here's the problem: The DS specs, at least, sound too good to be true. And leave it to Nintendo to support the phrase 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.' Two cases:

3DS: Was supposed to launch with a 2 MB RAM, flash-enabled browser, a quality communication for friends, and a flourishing eShop, as well as Dead Or Alive 3D, OOT3D, Mario Kart 3D, Paper Mario 3D, MSGSN3D, etc... Day one owners had to wait for months for most of these, and the browser specs were ditched spur-of-the-moment.

As for the Wii U, whereas I don't own one, but have heard mostly good about it, let me ask one question to those who think I'm being a pessimist:
How are you enjoying that promised library of GameCube games on the Virtual Console?
