Income Tax money from our parents is almost here! It's our wild chance to get new games, or even a new console/handheld.

I really want a Wii U, but I need a new 3DS because the one I'm using now is failing on me. My cameras doesn't work, my A button doesn't work, and my circle pad is stiffed, and 3D slider broke.

3DS XL! Those huge screens! Better battery life! Brand new!

Wii U: Decent games, awesome eShop games! HD! Smash Bros Wii U!

Ahhh! Can't decide! What would you choose if you were in my case?

@mega
Of course consoles are superior than handhelds. Wii U is a great system, but lacks games. 3DS has better games as of right now.

Sure, Wii U has HD. So? I want games. You're convencing me to get a 3DS XL, and wait for the Wii U get better games. Yes, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros, but still not enough games to play for the entire 8th gen.

Besides, there is no "real" version of SSB4. Both are main entries of the franchise.

No proofs are shown for Twilight Princess 2. Quit getting excited for a game that has not bin confirmed.

Its a matter of what do you play the most, a handheld or a home console? here's what I would do; get the WiiU then little later a new 3ds. you could go on to the Nintendo site and place a repair, but I don't know how much all those repairs cost. Anyway....you got a 3ds...it might be handicapped but you got one...go for the new experience...go fresh....live on the edge....ohhh yeeaa

3DS: Kid Icarus Uprising
Resident Evil: Revelations
Ocarina Of Time 3D
Star Fox 64 3D
Link Between Worlds
Dead Or Alive Dimensions
Maybe Mario Kart 7, Senran Kagura Burst, Animal Crossing, and PokeMon X/Y, if those games appeal to you.
Coming Soon: Kirby Triple Deluxe
Super Smash Bros. 3D
Bravely Default
AeternoBlade
Don't even get me started on eShop games... (But you probably know this already.)

Wii U: Resident Evil Revelations
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge
Batman: Arkham City
Coming Soon: Super Smash Bros. HD
The Legend Of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors
Mario Kart 8
And a few eShop games.

All in all, if you want to replace your 3DS, go for it. But I'd wait for the Wii U to come out with Smash Bros., cos by then, the other two games will also be out, and will more than likely have a small library of good (and exclusive) games. Hope this helps, and God bless!
