Strictness (up to a certain point) can be good.

If everybody could do whatever they want, swearing, cursing, discriminating, whatever, this site would be a boring and annoying place.

Maybe you should stop and think for a second. Some people can be highly offended by swear words, sexual terms, etc. I know a few people in real life who will leave a room if they hear one swear word. What I'm trying to say is that you never know what's going on in the life of the person you're talking to, and what you say is us being serious, we say is us being cautious.

I agree with Rob.
There are kids here. They hear someone say a bad word, not get in trouble for it, and tell everyone else and talk about it. That encourages more and more people to do it, break rules, and the place is annoying. Like Rob said, it's keeping the place nice to report it and stop it.
