Is The Wind Waker HD a good start?
SackThing101 (2013-09-22 16:19:12)Hm. It's really fun if you played the GC version. But this would be a good start since some stores don't sell WW on the GC.

mcwolf (2013-09-22 16:19:16)Yes, go for it your gonna love it
Update: it has an awesome combat system, an open sea to explore, great story. Plus it's the start of a new branch on the Zelda time line that goes with phantom hourglass, and spirit tracks.

Ron1212 (2013-09-23 22:14:29)Coming from an avid Zelda fan, the game actually is a pretty great way to start the series. You really don't need any prior knowledge (other than a couple of references to a past game here and there) and there's two sequels for the DS you can pick up and play.

I'm getting The Wind Waker HD Bundle this "christmas". (In our country Sinterklaas is our christmas)
Is this game a good start of getting into the series?
I really want to like the Legend of Zelda series, but I never played any of their games (except for Majora's Mask on a emulator, but I stopped when I was in the woods or something.)
