It matters about the age I believe.

Like if you put your birthday on September 16th 2013 (today) then you'll not see what he/she is playing.

Like my friend who is 11 doesn't know what I'm playing, even though I'm playing Resident Evil: Revelations/Shin Megami Tensei.

I think people that played a rated M game (Example: Shin Megami Tensei: IV) then they can see people play that game.

Like if an 11 year old played RE:R, then they can see 18+ people play rated M games.

Like I was born on September 14th 2000 and I play Resident evil: Revelations and Shin megami Tensei: IV and I can see my 18 year old friends on 3DS play rated M games.
