Ok, before you say 'NOOB CALL NINTENDO OR USE THE SUPPORT WEBSITE WHY ARE YOU ASKING A BUNCH OF KIDS????', let me tell you. Nintendo's support website is a bunch of junk, and didn't help one bit. And I'm checking every other option before having my parents call.

My 3DS has been broken since about June. I don't understand what happened. When I turn it on, the power light goes on and then nothing else. It doesn't try to turn the screen on, output sound, or anything. The trick of taking out the battery for 30 seconds didn't work, and Nintendo's support website didn't help. I'd need help to fix it.

Yea you gotta get Nintendo into this one, sounds like to me the screen receptors have been disconnected from the motherboard chip. It's a simple fix, if you wanna do it yourself. Did it you drop it or do anything that will cause a traumatic event for the 3ds? Anyway Nintendo can fix all problems. Go on the Nintendo site and put in what's wrong with it and it will tell you the price.

Something different happens now. It seems to snap into sleep mode once I turn it on.

just to experiment.....turn it on then open and close the device a few times, if its in a sleep mode this might reset it. unless you did this already.

Oh, and it stopped going into sleep mode now. Now it's doing what it was before.
