I just realized this a few minutes before making this thread. If someone puts, say, a Level 100 Noivern in the Bank, and restarts their file, then retrieves it, they'd be going through the entire game with an OP.

it'll be someone else's pokemon regardless and the new file will have a different trainer id so the pokemon won't listen to him

This would happen anyways if you were to trade a lvl. 1 pokemon with a lvl. 100 pokemon from a friend's completed game.
