1. System was designed for kids, you know, the ones who are NOT allowed to use the 3D. You can't just simply turn it off, because all they'll do is turn it back on.
2.Making a 2D version would be lazier than making a new console that allows uou to play the game without 3D

mcwolf (2013-09-02 18:35:07)It's true ody just look at it from a parents point of view, when they see the 3ds can make images for each eye, they start to wonder why the box it says 7 or older then they start to piece togeather "will this make my childs eyes be messed up in the future?" They are a little bit confused on the background of stereoscopic images. Me and you know how 3d images work its just how the older generation views this new technology.

No it will likely stay the same. Think back to the DS/DSi era.
Most likely yeah but then again its marketed for kids so maybe no.
And no it won't have exclusives since its practically the same with 3DS only without 3d. What i mean is hardware internally wise theirs nothing different other than its looks.
