Here's some errors:

1. Where does the game card go?

2.How will you streetpass?

3.Why is there two outer cameras if it's 2D?

4.Is it an at-home handheld? Or is it a portable handheld?

1: Goes on the top of the handheld

2: Therse a Sleep Mode switch to make the system go to sleep mode

3: Pictures taken in AR Games, or other games that supports AR, like Kid Icarus: Uprising, will still take 3D pictures so 3DS users can see the pic in 3D. (Even though, 3D pics will not be displayed on the 2DS)

4: It's a handheld, believe it or not. But being portable doesn't mean pocket friendly. Take the Laptop for example.

How will the 2DS fare with drops? The screen are fully exposed. Developers did say cases will be available in the near future, but I cannot think of anything that can really protect the screens better than the hinged design.

Does it hold a better charge? Is it Compatible with accessories like the Nyko PowerPak? Will it have it's own charging cradle?

I really want to go hands-on with this one; I'm dying to see if the new controls placement and feel will fare with some existing software.


And another small question.. When games like Pokemon X & Y release, will the commercials say "Only for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS?"

@ody do you have access to the handheld to truly say it's going to be uncomfortable. i mean looking just at 3ds it looks just as flat, if not flatter, than the 2DS. they both look uncomfortable to hold but we don't know yet until we've experienced it for ourselves.

kids hands aren't that small that they will be able to hold it. i've seen 3-4 year old hold a ds with no problem. It will cater to the young kids who don't have a 3DS since Pokemon X & Y will be selling right next to it. When parents see this they will go for the lowest priced thing that plays this thing and this is where 2DS comes in. Concerned parents can no longer bash on it for 3D since it have any and this thing will be EXTREMELY affordable to them.

@imtheboss722 With the hinges the 3DS was lot more vulnerable in splitting in 2. without them the problem is solved.

2ds is no bigger than 3ds in the open position. In terms of width where your particularly concerned about cause its apparently bulky it's the same width as 3ds and kids were able to grasp the ds lite which is almost exactly the same size so their should be no problem.
