Animal Crossing has been around for every single Nintendo game system since the GameCube, so there has to be a Wii U one.


However, 2014 is not going to be the release date for the game. If it was, it'd probably already be announced by now. I predict late 2015 or even 2016.

It prints money, so yeah. But judging by the Miiverse community they made in a desperate bid to get AC:NL owners to buy Wii U's, it seems like it's pretty far off.

@Ron1212 Actually, the first animal crossing game was in Japan on the Nintendo 64.

Animal Crossing GC = Enhanced port of Animal Forest.

Everybody said Kirby wouldn't be on 3DS for a few years. So ACU is possible.
