I've noticed ( as a forum mod ) that people put stuff in the wrong thread many times and I move them, and they eventually create a new thread because they think the thread was "accidentally" deleted. So this is what this suggestion is for.

Why not have a bot ( or something ) to tell them that your thread was moved through PM? It could be like the strike system where ir sends you a PM on what rule you broke ( and no. I didn't get striked yet ).

So tell me what you think.

^ How would you know? There's more to a forum mod than locking threads.

This is a great idea. When I move a few threads in the Art forum to Poetry, I see alot of the same threads.

This would be a very good thing for people who don't know where their topic is after it got moved.

I think this was something Rob had planned to implement for the notification system.

Sounds like a idea that needs to be made.
