imtheboss722 (2013-08-06 18:02:18)-Update-
I took out the instructions for the duplication glitch to make room for new tips. I'm sure everybody knows it already, anyway. From now on, I'll add tips to the comments for this thread.

I guess this can't really count as a tip, but I suppose it could suffice until I gather more.
Perfect Town Requirements
Perfect Town is basically just having maximum Citizen Satisfaction. To get it isn't hard, you just have to meet a few small requirements...
The amount of flowers in your town must be at least 50. I'm a flower kinda guy, so I have over 100. .D.
The amount of trees in your town has to be at least 110
The amount of weeds in your town must be less than 10
You must have no items on the ground. Like furniture, tools, etc.
You must have at least 5 Public Works Projects. But usually, you'll have to have more. I had to build 10 before the citizens were finally satisfied.
That's pretty much it. Having Perfect Town gets you a lot of cool props. For example:
If you have Perfect Town for 15 days straight, you will receive a Golden Watering Can. The Gold Can can water 9 flowers at once, and has the unique ability to make Gold Flowers.
On days when you have Perfect Town, a flower called Jacob's ladder will randomly grow on cliff edges.
The Flower Clock will be available as a Public Work Project, as well as three customization options for the Town Hall.

Get Furniture from your villagers' houses
If you walk into a villager's house, start going through anything that classifies as a storage unit (ex: dressers, wardrobes, etc.) You may find an old piece of furniture the owner doesn't want, and they'll let you keep it.

Infinite Bells
1. In order to perform this trick, it must be Sunday in your town, and another day of the week in the desired friend's town.First, buy an absurd amount of turnips. Then, travel to a friend's town (Preferably one who's buying Turnips for high prices).
2. Sell the turnips, then travel back to your town. Buy as many turnips as possible with your newly-made bells.
3. Go back to their town, and sell those turnips. Use the cash to buy more.
4. Repeat.
No beehives
Bee stings don't affect the villager in any way, but having to stare at that disgusting swollen left eye makes it hard not to get annoyed.
To avoid this, simply open up your town gate. Even if no one is with you, beehives don't exist during multiplayer.
Or, when the hive falls out of the tree, push Save and Continue. The bees will disappear, and the beehive is available for selling!
More money from rocks
How many bells to you get when you whack the daily Money Rock with a shovel? 5000? 6000? What you may not know is that the faster you hit the rock, the more bells you receive. The game makes this hard on you by pushing you back slightly each time. To eliminate this, first go up to the rock. Dig a hole behind you, and on either side of you. This way, when you hit the rock, You won't be pushed back because you're pinned against the rock. Here's the amount of bells you can receive while doing this-
Basic Shovel- 16,000 bells
Silver/Gold Shovel- 16,000-18,000 bells, or 8 pieces of ore.
Infinite Flowers
1. Go to the island.
2. Select an easy tour.
3. Fill your pockets with flowers from the tour, then use your remaining time to complete the tour.
4. Repeat until bin is full, go back to town, then plant them.
Skip Kapp'n Song
Kapp'n's songs on the way to the island are catchy at first, but after a while, they get tediously annoying. When the song starts, just repeatedly tap A or B to skip it.
Get Best Buy DLC at home
Can't get to Best Buy for the current DLC? Get it from the comfort of your own home! Just change the SSID of your router to Bestbuy. Use that SSID, along with your wi-fi password (If necessary) to create a new connection on your 3DS. You may have to disable your old connection, just drop or add a letter to the old SSID or something. Anyway, go to the Post Office, Select Ask About a present, and enjoy your gift!
When you go to retail, you can put an item up on the flea market display. When you select the price, it starts off with the original selling value if that particular item. You can change this price from anywhere between 0-999,999 bells. The most villagers will pay for an item is the item's original sell value x2.
Example
Potbelly stove
Value-400 bells
You can set the price of the Potbelly Stove up to 800.
A way to make even more bells from Re Tail
When a villager sees an item they like, lines of excitement will briefly display over their head. Then if you talk to them, they ask you if they should buy the item or not. When you see a villager express interest in one of your items, you can higher the price before telling them to purchase it. How high can you raise the price too? It can be up to the original sell value, times four, then minus one.
Example
The sale price of a Potbelly Stove is 400.
400 x4 =1,600 bells.
Now subtract one..
1,599 bells
After you change the price, talk the the villager and advise them to buy the item. This trick is really good for rare items that can be sold for a lot of money. Like, an item worth 8,000 bells can be sold for up to 31,999 bells.
TIP:
To make a villager buy your item, push them towards the item until they are directly in front of it. Then wait for the lines of excitement to appear.
Get villager's furniture
Have you ever went into another villager's house and saw some furniture you wanted? Well getting it is quite easy! Just write a bunch of letters to the villager's house, and attatch seashells to the letters as presents. Next, Spam the letters to that villager. They'll begin replacing their furniture with the seashells, and they'll put the furniture in the Flea Market in Re Tail!
