It's an amazing game, the graphics and 3D are great, but it's pretty lacking content wise. I mean, no Curly mode or Jukebox is kind of disappointing, and Classic mode is kind of pointless as well, it doesn't feel "classic" with the 3D backgrounds, and it's saved to your normal mode file so it adds no content. All the little extras such as the santa hat are missing as well. My point is, the WiiWare and DSi versions offer more content at a cheaper price. No, a few health capsules and a Prinny Cap is not worth 25-30$.
Especially since Nicalis delayed the game, I feel this is unacceptable. I'd give it an 8, but it would be pushing a 10 if all that content wasn't removed. I also wish there was an option to switch back to the classic sound as well. Nicalis/Pixel focused way too much on graphics here and left out some key elements.

I never fully experienced the original. And it's a good game, I enjoyed it a lot, there just isn't all that much to do in it.

Graphics and music aren't playable content. That's the thing. Once I get the "good" ending and mess around with Time attack, there won't be anything left to do.
