Looks like May 17th's Nintendo Direct didn't cover all Sonic games.

Iwata covered 2 of the Sonic games both Sega and Nintendo are working on, which is Sonic: Lost Worlds, and Mario & Sonic 2014 Winter Olympics, but therse was no details about a third Sonic game.

However, Sumo Digital, producers of Sonic Racing Transformed, teases about a MarioKart crossover with Sonic Racing. Could this be Nintendo and Sega's 3rd Sonic game? Most of you remember Nintendo were making a Fire Emblem crossover with Shin Megami Tensei. They even said that Nintendo will search other third parties to cross over their franchise with that developer. Could Sega be that developer? What do you think? Leave thoughts below!
