They don't. It's like going back in time and telling McDonald's to display their Calorie Count back in the 2000s. They'll say "Suuuuure we will, kid!", pat your head, and send you on your [not-so-]merry way. Using Supersize Me! as a reference was the only way the people were going to be able to speak out against them. Same with Nintendo. Unless someone finds a devious flaw in their plans, Miyamoto-san's not going to see any of our letters.
