I use to get banned a lot. If I can stop being an ass, I'm pretty sure other people can, too.

The ban length given depends on the severity of the offence caused, not the amount of times the user has broken a rule.
If a user is known to be a continuous rule breaker, their ban time is increased per offence. Moderators are to use perma ban as a last resort, unless it's an alt.
