I've noticed that every Pokemon tourney here goes belly-up because no one actually battles. In order to enjoy ourselves, as well as improve our skills as battlers, I've decided to start a Monotype Tournament.
2. Each competitor will have 8 Pokemon, a team of 6 pokemon belonging to your type, and 2 that can be any type you wish.
The Pokemon can be swapped around between each round, but only 1 of your 2 wild cards can be present in each team.
3. No complaining about Type Matchups. You will always encounter a Pokemon with a type advantage in normal battles, the best battlers know how to play around it.
4. There can only be 1 team per type. First come. First served basis for type selection.
5. More rules may be added as we go along.
