No, because someone could spam the button with alts. People would also have certain threads closed just because they dislike the OP or the thread idea. In most cases that's not a good enough reason to close a thread.

Now here's an idea that sounds good on paper. But isn't very good in reality. In theory it sounds good because users can close worthless threads. But in practice it's guaranteed that it will become a NOOB magnet (Mainly because the noobs would start closing every important and great thread that they can find.)

This is a very good idea!

I play Manic Digger, a free clone of Minecraft.
I have a Server too: Nisc3d's Survivaltown.

With this, users will get out of hand and just close any random topic to ''troll'' someone.

Besides, topics on here aren't closed because someone doesn't like it, unless the owner who made the topic doesn't like it, they can close it on their own.
