ayuki(2013-02-12 21:49:51)Introduction: Hello, users of 3dsplaza! Today, I will be reviewing ZombiU, I hope you enjoy.
Okay, so lets get started, shall we?
Gameplay: Ubisoft did a good job with ZombiU, especially with the horror aspect, as well as the survival aspect. The horror side was more than satisfactory, because at one point in the game, you could be climbing up ladders but then a zombie could jump onto you and scare the living out of you.
I like it when you find yourself entering Buckingham Palace, and then a zombie tries getting you as you're crawling through a vent.
The survival aspect is outstanding in my opinion, because you have to scavenge, you have to sleep, you basically survive in a zombie apocalypse.
Gameplay rating: 4.5/5
Music:
The music in ZombiU adds more fear into the player as you are running from zombies or even encountering them, although the music does get pretty repetitive and boring if you love to just smash zombies' heads into mush. (Like I do! ) The sound quality is great, and Ubisoft worked hard on the orchestrated soundtrack.
Note 1: There is static sounds and others when you fight certain types of zombies.
Sound rating: 3/5
Graphics: The graphics in this game are beautiful. If you're inside Buckingham Palace, it will feel like you are actually there because Ubisoft did a tremendous job on placing everything correctly and making everything look as detailed as possible.
Story:
[WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE START OF ZOMBIU'S STORY TO BE SPOILED FOR YOU, KEEP SCROLLING]
The story of ZombiU starts off like a typical zombie game/story. You see your survivor, roaming the streets of the undead. "The Prepper" notices you and tells you to enter the Tube station (a massive underground transit system in London). That's when all hell breaks loose and undead start rising. Your survivor enters the Tube entrance, and the cutscene ends. That's when you have to run through the station (tutorial INCLUDED) away from the undead. As you escape just barely by entering a room, a zombie's face pops up, and then you see the ZombiU logo. That's when you wake up inside of the Safe House.
Gamepad Gameplay: The Gamepad pretty much keeps you alive in ZombiU. With its radar, sonar and inventory, you can always prepare for what lies ahead in ZombiU...
Gamepad rating: 4/5
EXTRA: Multiplayer: The multiplayer in ZombiU consists of two gamemodes, the first one is where one person (The Survivor) kills the zombies, while the other person (The King Of Zombies) places zombies. The second gamemode is basically the same, but both teams have to capture flags.
Multiplayer rating: 5/5
Overall Gameplay: I loved all of it, and it was a complete and satisfactory game.
My rating: 9.5/10
So, tell me what you think!
