Questions about MYST 3DS

I loved the original MYST (played on the Amiga), and I've realised that some sort of port has come to the 3DS, and is now even downloadable. But before I shell out $30 for it around 20 years later, I need some questions answered by people who've bought the game, and all help would be greatly appreciated.

1. What, exactly, is the gameplay like? I've heard some people say you use the touch screen to point-and-click around the island, but the eShop-based screenshots indicate to me that there's a point-and-click system somehow using the top screen, perhaps to have 3D environments. Still another source says that it's a fully-rendered 3D game, where you use the joystick to move about (tho, I find this a bit hard to believe; too good to be true?).

2. Does it use the 3DSes 3D? Cos a 3D MYST, in theory, should be awesome. Like, OMG, there's depth in the library!

3. I heard something about a new level from a previous remake (called RealMYST). Is it as good as some of the original levels?

4. Is it closer to a port of MYST, or RealMYST? (In terms of graphics and gameplay) Cos I am interested in a RealMYST experience, more than a clumsy port of the original. :l

5. How many blocks is the downloadable version?

6. In your opinion, is it worth $30?

If you own the game, please answer as many as possible. I really do want to play MYST again, but I'm hesitant to risk $30 if it's just going to disappoint. Thank you!
