So. A few days ago I beat Cave Story (easy) with the good ending. I started a new file to do the same, this time in normal mode (I plan to beat it on every difficulty).

A few hours ago, I wanted to play, and launched the title. I accidentally pressed slot one, which was saved in the Prefab House, before entering the Sacred Ground (or Hell). I was about to quit to put slot 2, when I noticed that Quote's skin was grey, he had red eyes, and a dark blue hat.

Thinking maybe there was something secret, I entered the Sacred Ground and beat Ballos (again).

Then I left.

Right now, I launch Cave Story Slot 2, and notice that Quote's looking goth, even though its another slot.

If it helps, im currently in the Bushlands.

Now, im not complaining, but is this a glitch/easter egg?
