Cave Story

If you're on the fence, I'll help you out.

If you've never played or owned Cave Story, this is an absolute buy, and the right version to buy.

If you already have the DSiware version or 3DS retail version, I would still recommend this because

-Has more content than both of those versions
-Graphics are much different than Cave Story 3D
-DSiware version does not have 3D and wide-screen benefits, along with the standard 3DS features (Suspend software & friend list)

If you have the PC version of Cave Story+, or the Wiiware version of Cave Story, I would not recommend this.

It is the exact same as those versions, but without the improved sprites and sound track, and with the ability to toggle wide-screen on and of, and 3D.

I think the 3D was done very nicely, a lot of attention to all the little things, wide-screen is really nice too. But content wise, this is same as the Wiiware version, but it is $5 cheaper.

Brief content rundown

-Main game
-Curly's story
-Sanctuary time attack
-Boss rush mode
-Jukebox
-Wind fortress

Sadly, I don't think this version has the Prinny Cap easter egg that Cave Story 3D had.

I'm planning on getting the eShop version. I've never played it before, so I don't know anything about it really, except that everyone who's played it seems to have loved it. So, yeah, when I eventually get more eShop credits, that's on my wishlist.
