Weird 3DS Problem

I was noticing this while I was playing Ghost Recon : Shadow Wars, but I don't know how to say this, but the "skin" on some of my buttons are coming off. Including the D-pad. Its not a whole lot, but I noticed it also started to occur on the power button.
