NSMB2 Dissapointment SPOILER MIL. COIN REWARD

I was reading an online (gamefaqs) board about New Super Mario Bros 2, and they said that the reward is

Do you think its worth it. I don't. I thought they would pay. I highly doubt that's it, because they had no actual proof (other than Nintendo saying that it was ), and the fact that 1 million is pretty much impossible to obtain in 1 day. I don't believe this, and I'm buying it for the game, but when I get 1 million coins I want a good reward. Nintendo apparently said it. If it's true, would you care?

All I know is that theres a statue involved, and you can play as it. I'd rather play as a koopa! And be able to crawl in the shell and jump like NSMB!
